I'm curious if anyone's experimented with changing the prices in the uk store to .99 or 2.99 etc instead of just accepting the price from the conversion of the US price.  I'm wondering if it's a way to make a few extra dollars by rounding up, or if it even makes it looks more "acceptable" or attractive than the odd numbers you sometimes end up with (.76 right now I think on a.99 book.)

I round up or down to end all prices with .99 or .49 (depending on where in the dollar range it was), regardless of the store. So I do it for all countries, not just the US and UK.

I also do this on B&N and Kobo.

Someone in that other thread pointed out that we need to allow for 3% VAT in the UK, though, and they posted the exact amounts that we should post in order to arrive at .99 prices after VAT.
