I wake up every single day planning to be productive and then a voice in my head says “haha good one” and we laugh and laugh and take a nap.

I'm listening to that voice in my head RIGHT NOW. It said, "Go to KB, dink around, then go take a nap."
It's nine am in this part of Canada
Going to make some fantastic coffee, have a nice piece of toasted ciabatta with Swiss cheese (for a multicultural breakfast) and then spend the day writing, laundry,  maybe tidy up a bit, and then write some more.

However, then my dear mother is going to drop by unannounced to talk about the weather for an hour and that'll totally throw me off and I'll end up napping.

No naps for me, but I did recenly switch my "real job" + commute hours from 1100-2330 to 0900-2130. I was absolutely sure I could still get the same amount of sleep, wake up 2 hours earlier, and get 2 whole hours of writing/exercise time in before my wife and son got up for the day. I switched my schedule two weeks ago. The number of days I've actually gotten up at 5am? One.

Not off to a good start on that one ;)

+1 Love it- my voice says the same thing.

However, I made a resolution this year to write everyday no matter what. Even if it was only 50 words of crap. I put writing deadlines on the calendar for the first quarter, and I purposely didn't give myself a lot of leeway to mess around (because otherwise I will).

So far, it's working. But I still managed to slip a nap in there today. ;)
