Hoping someone here can shed some light on this.

My books are all on SW, but only one was sent to Apple before I decided to publish to them directly (basically for two reasons, I wanted to see myself how my sales were doing sooner than SW could provide and because the book was put in the wrong categories and I didn't get any response from SW when I asked how to fix it). I opted out of the Apple distribution on SW for all of my books and started uploading them to Apple. The three that hadn't made it to Apple went through and are pending with iTunes. The one that was on Apple was taken off, but I can't upload it myself because they say the ISBN already exists.

This is an ISBN that I bought through Bowker for the ePub version of my books. I've emailed Apple 3 times now with no response.

Ideas?

I thought the ISBN was per format. Like the same book in paperback would be ISBN 1, on ePub would be ISBN 2, on mobi would be ISBN 3. The way I read it when I looked into it suggested that it was assigned to the format. Even when I assigned it on Bowker, I assigned it to the ePub version.

It would really suck to have to use up another ISBN because of this.
