Near the bottom of the Amazon page for my novel, it tells me that "85% buy the item featured on this page."

Does anyone know if that actually mean what it says? :)

If it does, by my reckoning very few people are actually making it to the page, because I generally sell five or less copies a day. Frustrating, because the (non-friend-and-family) reviews would seem to indicate people who do buy it and read it actually enjoy it.

So does anyone know if the Amazon statement means what it sounds like, that 85% of the people who make it to the product page and buy something end up buying the product?

I can't, for the life of me, figure it out. Amazon changes things all the time. I've given up trying to understand anything but the numbers in my KDP report. hahaha :)
That's true, there is so much information about our books, when all we should be concerned about is if they are selling and kdp will tell us that!
