You might want to look into the battery operated battery charger. I recently got one after we had a blackout. With hurricane/tropical storm season coming up, I wanted to be sure to have a power source for Little Gertie.



It's $19.95, but worth it for my peace of mind. There are also solar chargers available, but Amazon has yet to endorse one, so I'll wait on that.

Thanks for the link Gertie, I could have used this the other day when we lost power after a thunderstorm, and this will definitely come in handy during Hurricane Season.
