Passed away due to complications during surgery. Will be missed. Brought some larger than life characters to the screen.

I haven't seen Bill Paxton in that many things.  I guess mostly in "Twister" and "Big Love".  But every time I see him I can't stop seeing him as the older brother in "Weird Science".  He played the most thoroughly disgusting human in movies, ever, and he got what he deserved in the end, and I just never can stop seeing him in that role.

Even in "Big Love", where he did such a good job, I never could get that image out of my mind.
