I read a lot and enjoyed it as a child and in my younger years. But in about 1980, I discovered counted cross stitch as many did at that time. I was addicted. I stopped reading. So I stitched for about 15 years until my eyes gave out. (I can still read, but stitching became difficult. I did totally give it up a number of years ago now.) But admittedly, I haven't really gotten back into reading. I want to, but I haven't -- as yet. (I did get the sleep gene from my mother. Aaaaah. Sleep.) I am hoping my Kindle will pull me into it again. Did anyone else find they read more after getting their Kindle?
