Basically, I want to know if it's against Amazon's terms to give a book away as a freebie some place else. I have a book on Amazon currently priced 2.99 but I'm planning on lowering it to 0.99 and then giving the book away as a reader magnet (via Bookfunnel and Co.) for a few months. The book used to be in KDP Select, but no longer is.

I already did this with a short story and nothing happened, but I wanted to get some opinions before I end up risking my book.

You can do anything you want with your ebook as long as it's not currently enrolled in Kindle Unlimited.
If it's enrolled in Kindle Unlimited, it has to be exclusive to Amazon.
