Registration for the spring semester began, but I had to wait for my day to register (based on last name). So today was my day to register and my mom came into my room this morning at 10 o'clock freaking out at the fact that I had yet to get up to go to the college and register for my classes. Little did she know that I got up at 8 o'clock (my designated time for early registering), grabbed my laptop on the table next to me (on sleep and already at the college website), typed in my class codes, and hit confirm. Within two minutes, I could have been back asleep with no problem, but I had to stop by the kindleboard for a couple of minutes. I could have also paid for my classes with a credit card, if I wanted. It took me awhile to explain everything to my mom, who went to college over twenty years ago.

In my day, you had to sharpen your own goose-quill and carry your own ink pot. And I think it snowed year-round. Or maybe that wasn't me.

I went live in the dorms and came back for spring break with a tattoo. My parents freaked.

Its a hawaiian green turtle (referred to as a Honu) and a plumeria (Which is what my hawaiian name means). My skin is really dry in this photo, took it as soon as I got home after spending all day at the airport...before I told my parents.

I have one tattoo on my ankle and my eyebrows are tattooed. Ankle did not hurt. Eyebrows did.

Eyebrows have more nerves in that area than the ankle. Getting a tattoo didn't really hurt me. It was my dorm's tradition of hitting a new tattoo that did hurt...

My mom got the eyeliner tattoo and the eyebrows, too. It was weird, because when the eyeliner tattoo bled it looks like she was tearing blood. Too bad she didn't let me take a photo of it.
