There was a mix-up when registering my daughters Kindle to my account and all my books have downloaded to her Kindle. I went to the content manager on the K1 and put x's on all the books, pressed menu and "remove from Kindle" was not highlighted thus not an option? Why is that and how will I get these books off her Kindle if I cannot select that action?

They may not be ON the kindle.  In content manager note that there is a notation under each book that says Kindle, Amazon, or SD Card.  If it says Amazon, the book is not on the Kindle.  Look at the home page(s) to determine what really is there.  It will show only what's in Kindle memory or on any SD card installed.

You can also delete each one individually from the home page by pressing backspace, but that will take longer if there are a bunch of books as you can only do one at a time this way.
