Romance Blurb - Help Appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I'm writing a blurb (it's the second book of a series) for a romance book and would love some input. Any help would be appreciated - blurb writing is not my forte! Here goes nothin':

Emily McDonald’s trust has been shattered. The man she was in love with is actually in a relationship with her worst enemy. She wants to forget about him and move on with her life to focus on getting her kids back, but she can’t let go of the past just yet and it’s inclined to return the favor.

Emily is desperate to free herself from Janet’s oppressive leadership skills and avoid getting clobbered again, literally and figuratively. But Janet’s darkest secret falls into Emily’s lap – and not in the stripper way. She’s presented with a choice: get her man back or avoid the situation and keep her heart safe, while condemning Chase to a life of unhappiness. It’s not going to be easy, especially when the one man she doesn’t want to see comes ambling back into her life to ruin everything she’s managed to create.

Thanks a lot!

This blurb looks like if it was written for someone who has already read a book one of the series and knows what you are talking about. But what about a random buyer who find this book first, before the book one? I'm afraid they won't get too much.
Ex-stripper Emily McDonald's trust has been shattered. Chase, the dashing businessman she was in love with, is actually in a relationship with her worst enemy - Janet, her boss at the dance studio. She wants to forget about him and move on with her life to focus on getting her kidsShould I be focusing more on this? back, but she can't let go of the past just yet and it's inclined to return the favor.

Emily is desperate to free herself from Janet's oppressive leadership skills and avoid getting involved in Chase's personal life. But Janet's darkest secret falls into Emily's lap -- and not in the stripper way. - not sure about this last sentence now.

(Emily does know that Chase is together with Janet on page 1 - she finds out at the end of Book 1 - still not sure if it's right to mention it? But it's the main source of conflict for Emily in this book).
