I have just published 4 short stories
They have all been published in magazines or anthologies before and are:
The Smell of Magic (Short Story)
"Love may smell sweet and betrayal bitter, but revenge has the richest scent of all..."
Kelde has returned to his village after two years away training as an apprentice Witch Hunter searching out magic use. He meets up with Shara his childhood sweetheart, who has promised to wait for him, but is she everything she seems?
The Smell of Magic is 4,000 word fantasy romance story with a twist and was originally published in Realms of Fantasy Magazine.
Alyssa and the Robin (Short Story)
Alyssa lives in a house protected from the outside world.
She only has Mentor, the house computer, and a mechanical Robin for company and initially is happy.
She explores the house and finds a secret that changes everything...
This 2,500 word Science Fiction short story originally appeared in Scheherezade magazine.
First Through the Post (Short Story)
Tony is a mailer; someone who sends themselves through the vacuum tube postal system in a box for the fun and thrill of the challenge. When Brandon, a brash young American arrives at the Mailers' hangout, Tommy' cafe, and starts to make a move on Claire, Tony's almost girlfriend; Tony decides to call his bluff and challenges him to a race through the London network.
Even if it means going through the dreaded King's Cross hub....
This 4,300 word Science Fiction short Story was first published in On Spec magazine.
4 Stars - "An inventive and amusing idea, neatly handled". AnthologyBuilder.
Cooper's Creek (Short Story)
Jerry and Sue have just stolen a car from the LA Dome and they are on a road trip away from trouble.
They stop at Cooper's Creek, in the middle of nowhere and find an old-fashioned store. But it is unlike any store they've seen and Jerry soon finds that a man can change after all.
A 3,800 word Science Fiction story in the style of Ray Bradbury, Cooper's Creek was originally published in The Mammoth Book of Road Stories.
Many thanks for looking
