Anybody have any experience converting Final Draft screenplays for use in the Kindle universe?

I've got a few under my belt that I'd like to put out into the e-book world, but if the Novel conversion was hard, this seems downright impossible.

Any hints, thoughts or suggestions/directions?

Ooh, that's an interesting idea and question.  I have some screenplays lying around and there's that musical my husband and I wrote (we were commissioned for it and it was produced... small time stuff).  But, it wouldn't hurt to see if I could get some use of them.

I hope someone here answers you (since I don't have an answer).

Good luck!

I have one - THE SCENIC ROUTE.  Since so many ebook readers read on small handheld devices, I figure you have to ditch the formatting.  No indents.

So I copied and pasted into a text document to kill the formatting, and then pasted THAT into my Word Kindle template.  Then I cleaned up the formatting by hand.  A lot of trouble, not many sales.  It might be better to adapt it into a novella -- which is what I did with another screenplay HARSH CLIMATE.  That's a slow seller on Kindle too, but after making it free for a short time, I think it might be my best seller on Apple, and a good seller on B&N.
