I'm getting ready to upload a book of short stories, but they are a real miscellany and I'm not sure whether to add all the categories or just leave it at Fiction - short stories.

I have humour, historical, murder, ghost, twist in the tale, sentimental, adventure, and even a bit naughty. There are also two bonus read-aloud stories for children.

If a reader is searching for short stories about ghosts they might be fed-up if there is only one ghost story  . But if they read the TOC they will quickly see the theme of each story  .
But the more categories I have, the more chance of a sale 

Should I add the seven I'm allowed?

Where on Earth do you get seven categories? KDP only allows two, Kobo and ARe three.

Though if the stories are of various genres, I'd use fiction - short stories and maybe add the other genres as keywords.

My mistake, I meant the two categories and the seven keywords. Perhaps fiction - short stories, and fiction - general
