I'm ready, too. Others have given me courage. Have a good week everyone. I won't be on a lot. I'm bottle feeding kittens. I will be back in force next week (hopefully). I hope things are going well for everyone.

Yay!  Feel the breeze of the fresh air outside!
Yes I came out recently too.  I got a few negative reviews not long after but I figured, what the heck, if my skin hasn't toughened up now it never will....
Cheers

Welcome!
May the force be with you... and the kittens
What does this mean.. I mean here on KB to come out???
Does it mean you're, like into the same sex? Or is there some alternate KB definition.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I haven't been on a lot recently.

But either way: Congratulations on coming out!
Heh, I thought you might do it eventually. (Re-) welcome!

Hey Yoda, I knew others were saying you were famous, but I didn't know you were THAT famous  ;D

Okay, thanks. I knew no matter what it meant, I was going to look a bit foolish, but I had to know =-)
Hehe. I'd already figured out who you were, btw. ;)

I'm fairly certain half the board did. I would make a terrible spy.

Yeah, I don't think famous is the right word.
Congrats Amanda - your posts are always inspirational.

I love your covers :)

I must be the only one who never turns detective to find out kboard member's pen names or real identities. 1, why would I want to? 2, life's too short. 3, if someone wants to hide, let them!

Anyway, welcome back to the light.
I don't want to get all schmaltzy, but I just want to say I appreciate you and everyone else who's done this lately. I know there's a risk associated with it for you, and I'm thankful that you do it anyway. I often find it useful to go to the author pages of the folks here who are experts and whose advice/opinions I trust to see how they're doing things--how they're setting up their categories, what keywords/search terms would bring me to their books, how they're doing their covers, what their release schedule is like, that sort of thing.
Mark, I never have either for the same reasons.

Yoda, happy coming outing :)
Some of us figured it out because we were studying cozy authors. It wasn't a deliberate "ooh gotta figure out who so and so is" but more of a "hey, I think so and so is this person based on the information given" kind of thing. :)
Yay, nice to meet you!

I've just seen you do a reaper series! I've been struggling to come up with categories for my reaper trilogy, The Deadliners. (I didn't realise that's what it was until I just looked at your Aisling Grimlock books). Now I'ml excited to do some more research in regards to keywords and categories for Reaper books! :)
Hi Amanda! I always enjoy reading your posts, and appreciate you coming out :)
