Mark Coker wrote an excellent book on marketing e-books. It is mainly for authors or people thinking about writing a book. He gives a lot of good advice, including don't get your expectations up since it is hard to sell books.
Mark Coker started Smashwords and knows a lot about publishing. It is interesting to see things from his prospective.
Have you read this book and what did you think about it?
I read that a few months ago. It has good common sense about book marketing. I wouldn't say it has anything spectacularly innovative though. Yet again, most of the marketing books I’ve read all have about the same advice.
