When you start selling well it becomes a nuisance.Beatrice Brusic said:Did you know that Smashwords sends you an email the moment someone purchases your book? I think that's really great and only wish Amazon would do that too.
I wish that nuisance on all of us, hundreds of times a day.tensen said:When you start selling well it becomes a nuisance.
I'd have to agree with this. I don't sell that many at SW, but at Amazon I do so this would create a lot of trouble for me navigating my inbox.tensen said:When you start selling well it becomes a nuisance.
Those are the more exciting ones, IMHO. If they're good, they make you grin like an idiot in public. If they're bad, you shriek "WHAT?!?" at your smart phone in a crowded area.RobertLCollins said:You also can get a notice if a review is posted.
I'd hate for Amazon to do it, unless there was some way to opt out if you don't want to receive the notices. I have so many emails to sort through already, this would just be something else for me to have to delete. I don't mind the SmashWord notifications so much because they're so rare.Beatrice Brusic said:I think that's really great and only wish Amazon would do that too.
