Ok, so now that we are done with Saturday and the Rapture, are we still on or is it all off for Octeber 21st? Isn't that the end of the Mayan calender? I thought that's when the man upstairs really pulled the plug down here. Could be wrong, but at least we would have a warning.
The Rapture was supposed to happen on May 21. . . .all the 'left behinds' would have 5 months of tribulation and then the world would end on October 21.
And the Mayan Calendar only goes to sometime in December of 2012 -- but that's like saying the world will end at midnight on the 31st of December because if you flip the page January isn't there Solution: go buy a new calendar. It's just that the cycle the Mayans recorded/projected was much longer. Such is my understanding anyway.
They actually decided that 12/21/12 is the wrong date for the Mayan Calendar ending. Apparently the math is wrong for some reason and it could be off by dozens or hundreds of years either way. Seems as if the conversion of Mayan dates is off by at least 50 to 100 years or so.
Actually all date could be or not be. The BIBLE says that "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
" (Matthew 24:36), also "Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you," (Matthew 24:4). So while you may hear of predictions or exact times you will not know what day or hour. So "Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36) While that may or may not be answer for some of you it is the truth.
