I'm hoping it isn't a reporting error. I sold 20 copies of Planet Explorers Smithsonian: A Travel Guide for Kids on BN.com two days ago. I'm baffled...this title doesn't sell very well, and until now has only sold or or two copies total at B&N since its release. Maybe an acquaintance is helping me out? Maybe it's for a whole classroom?

I wish I knew so I could make it happen again with all of my titles every day...

Has anyone else had a strange unexplained little surge at BN.com lately?

I normally get 1 or 2 a day for at least one novel on BN, but on Thursday, I sold 8, and the most I ever usually get in one day is 5. If I knew where people were finding my novels, I'd do more of that, and that includes with Amazon.

One of my novels is in the top 25 in its category consistently on B&N, which is why I probably have consistent sales, while on the same category on Amazon, I fall in and out of the top 100 all the time, and can hardly ever crack the top 25. Drives me batty since I can never get any consistency going on Amazon.

I have two titles that have been selling really well on B&N this month and last. If I stay on track this month I'll make at least $200 there alone. I know for some of you that's pennies, but for B&N and I it's turning out to be a very good month.

Well, it's a non-fiction travel guide, but perhaps for a field trip group. I'm so excited!

I've only made more than $100/month at BN.com once...perhaps it will now happen again.

I've been blown away by my B&N sales. I've done nothing to promote (except perma-free) and yet I sell more there than at Amazon. I can't say if I've had a 'sudden surge' though as I have to wait on SW reporting.

My books are selling at BN this month too! I just broke $200...usually at mid-month, I'm at $40 average. Not complaining!

I always sell 3x at BN what I sell at Amazon but I was shocked to see 3 sales there today. I was doing okay with 1 or 2 sales every couple of days, but suddenly 3 today!! I hit over $100 a month there back early 2012 but steady downslope since then.
