What are you suggestions for updates to the next generation Kindle?

(I read a thread like this earlier in the week and cannot find it now.  I have searched this Board and it does not appear to be here so I am starting it for us.)

1) User adjustment to date and time.  For those of us who do not have whispernet access this would be useful,

2) The ability to add/correct/adjust Author names to books without having to use 3rd party software and

3) An additional sort category that allows a) assigning a Series Name and b) sorting books within a series,

I know I have one more suggestion but it has escaped from my mind... When I capture it again I will let you know.

Okay.... I'll be serious and speak for many of us and start this discussion out with "FOLDERS!!"  Now.... lightheartedly.... I would purchase Kindle 2.0 if it came with an Oberon cover, 3 or 4 DecalGirl skins, and my first 25 Amazon books for free.  Since that probably won't happen (HA!!!)..... I probably won't need to buy 2.0 since I'm so happy with the Kindle I have!!!

ok PG3,

4) Folders

I finally caught and held on to the idea long enough to write it down.

5) The ability to password lock the screen and database. That way we can carry lists of a sensitive nature with us on our Kindles and have them with us everywhere we go without fear of the lists getting in the wrong hands.

Or for those of us carrying sensitive books. ;)

To be honest, save for folders or other organizational capabilities, my Kindle has pretty much everything I want. I can't really imagine needing more for 2.0.

A bookmark button.  That way you just hit a button instead of scrolling up and pressing the wheel.  I think I would do more bookmarking that way.

Auto-scroll that is adjustable, and not just by increasing and decreasing the font size.  I use the (hidden) feature now, but can't get the speed just right.

Sometimes I'm doing things with both hands or I'm being too lazy to even hit buttons.  I want it to turn the pages for me.

6) A bookmark button for those of us who cannot remember all the keyboard shortcuts.  Or maybe a laminated card to keep in our Kindle Cover that lists all the keyboard shortcuts.

7) User adjustable automatic page turning speed.

All good suggestions.  Maybe Amazon is already thinking along these lines too... but it never hurts to put our wishes out there.

Our Kindles are wonderful and I would not trade mine in for anything.

It is still very early days for this product. I believe that Kindle will develop beyond what we can even imagine for it today just like my computer has since my first Apple IIe. I am thinking and hoping that this is Amazon's goal too.

So everyone let your imagination flow..... what would you want it to do?
