Everyone likes people-watching, right? Well, the Beach Diaries is the result of me hanging out at my local beach for the summer, and digging out the narrative within the mundane. It's a follow-up to 2011's collection of journals, but due to a bunch of pretty trying personal circumstances, more than ever, they're diaries in the truest sense, putting more of myself out there than I'm honestly comfortable with. But the hard truths are art, so here we are, and it doesn't stray from its "Overheard in..." roots.
Here's the cover, based, as is the theme, on something I saw.
Here's a promotional poster I knocked up for it, which alludes to another incident that happened down on the sands, and covered within.
So if people interest you, in all their beauty, horror and grotesquery, or you just have a thing for the British seaside, you should probably buy it IMMEDIATELY. Because, honestly, it's pretty great.
PEACE
