I know the obvious answer is read the DT version, which I have several copies of.  But, I just can't do it.  I need my Kindle!!!  Normally, if this happens, I just read something else instead, but I have to read this one.  What do I do?

WTF???  There's a particular book you own "several" copies of, but you refuse to read any of them despite your desire to read the book, because you now, suddenly, are incapable of reading real books?

My only advice: Grow some frigging perspective.

(Sorry--despite his cowboy status, sometimes I'm a bit more direct than my friend.)

Post your book to the thread that exists where you ask people to request the book in Kindle format.  People go in there religiously and click away requesting books.  Very often it works after a few thousand requests to the publisher....

However, if it is a JK Rowling book, sorry.  You are screwed!  ;D

I understand. I have several copies of "Bibliophobia: Diagnosis and Treatment", but just can't bring myself to read 'em.

In these situations, I find prayer helps.  Just out of curiosity, what book isn't available?

Boy, are you guys lucky! I found this.

Prop the book open.

On Kindle, with home screen displayed. Type <ALT> + IMLAZY

Prop the K2 in front of book and Tom will read it to you!!!

Add a rotating fan to the mix and you are GOLDEN!

I FOUND IT!!!

Here is the link for the thread of books that people want on Kindle! The idea is that you post what book YOU want and people will go click to request it and then you will, in turn, click on THEIR book to request it.

Here ya go:

I've seen that Ms. Rowling's books aren't on Kindle - I hadn't read about why, but it sounds like she's addressed this issue and said "no way?" Correct?

Any other popular authors currently writing that are in this category (NEVER gonna be in Kindle!)?

A couple, robodoc, but I think they're falling like dominos.  John Grisham recently crossed over, as did Tom Clancy, and Danielle Steele.  bwahahahaa.  All part of our evil plan.

Any word on Tolkien's books? (I click on the Kindle link of these frequently) One of the book series I've loved the most, and look forward to reading on Kindle!
