Hi there Kindle readers,

I'm pleased to announce that my latest book is now live in the Kindle store. :)

It started in Mexico when a man found a silver metal briefcase on a beach. Thinking he'd found drugs being smuggled into the country, the man who found the vial of fluid inside the insulated attaché case threw it down and broke it in disgust. He didn't notice the droplets of fluid that landed on his sandaled feet.
That man carried the cartel's plague back to his village where the latest strain of the flu was running rampant. The plague mutated, joining with the flu, thus becoming airborne. It had now become the deadliest plague the world had ever faced.
Soon, a flood of refugees headed north to escape the onslaught of the plague. They carried it with them into the Border States of America.
The peacekeepers face their greatest challenge to date as they race to save the human race from what is nothing short of The New Apocalypse.

The book is priced at $2.99.

Have a great Fathers Day,
Ricky

Hello again, Ricky, and congratulations on your book!

Please note that KindleBoards is a Readers and Kindle Fan forum. Authors are always welcome but self-promotion, of any sort, is ONLY allowed here in the Book Bazaar.

A brief recap of our rules follows: (Note that this doesn't mean you've done anything wrong; we just want you to have a ready reference. :) )

--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information. You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).

--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here

--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days. Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link. Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows. This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles! Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post. For information on more ways to promote here on KindleBoards, be sure to check out this thread:
Authors: KindleBoards Tips & FAQ.

All this, and more, is included in our Forum Decorum. Be sure to check it from time to time for the current guidelines and rules.

Oh, and one more thing: be sure to check out the index threads at the top of the Book Bazaar. . . follow the directions there to be listed. :)

Thanks for being part of KindleBoards! Feel free to send us a PM if you have any questions.

Hi there Kindle readers,

I just wanted to thank you all for the great month of sales for this book. I was amazed when it surpassed sales of book 1 of this series for much of the month.  :) Although book 1 finally passed it and ended with a good margin, much of the month they were neck and neck. It was an exciting experience to watch their progress.

I'm hoping that this will lead to a few more reviews and tags for the book.

Thank you again for your patronage.

Have a great day,
Ricky

Hi there Kindle readers,

I've finished writing Book 9, The Warlord. My own editing and polishing stage has also ended, and this morning I sent it to my Beta readers and my Editor. I think it safe to say that the book will be released in a couple of weeks. Much depends upon what Frankie finds when she begins her editing process.

So that I wouldn't get lazy while I'm waiting for the reports from the Beta readers and my editor, this afternoon I broke ground on book 10, Lina's Story. This is a book that I've considered writing for two years. It will begin just prior to the night of the quakes and progress through the years until it is up to date with the events depicted in book 9.

As always, thank you for your patronage.

Have a great day,
Ricky
