I recently found out I have to store my Kindle in a tighter and flatter pocket than I had originally thought. The case I have now won't fit in there by any means.

What is the thinnest Case or Sleeve out there?

I want to keep my Kindle lightly protected.

Incipio makes a very thin and light case but it makes no sense to me because it only really covers the back:

This incipio makes slightly more sense because at least it covers the sides:

I use one that has full coverage and is still very low-profile and featherweight. However, it probably won't "slip" into a pocket too easily because it's made of silicone:

But maybe one of them is what you're looking for.

That second one is perfect! Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks so much.

We just came out with our new book style cover design for the Kindle 3 which I have posted photos on kindleboards. It's lite in weight, lays completely flat on any surface, and very comfortable on your hands while you read. Let me know what you think. Sorry this is not self promotion here, just thought I shared as this fell within the lines.

JoeV, how could one of those slip into a pocket?? Not to start a flame war or be disrespectful, but replies to posts that are not responsive to the OP are one of my Top Ten Internet Pet Peeves.  And quoting the OP doesn't fool anybody.  What I mean is, if you have your own agenda, why not just start your own thread?

I'm sorry, may have missed some of the specs, just from the title my eyes locked in on thin and cover so I replied. In terms of the objective what size pocket are we talking about? and your not starting a flame / war at all I should have done a better job reading all the post on this thread :)

In terms of the agenda, completely with you on this too.

I actually commented on that thread. Those cases are beautiful.

As for the answer to your other question, the pocket is extremely tight and those cases have little chance of fitting in it. It's one of those pockets that the back of notepads slip into to keep it in, so I'm looking for a tight case/cover to put on so it can be protected from scratches caused by the stiff pocket.
