It's certainly eye-catching, and it highlights exactly what the authors wants you to see (title, name, blurb). Plus it makes me want to go see what it's about. Simple but, for me, enticing.

I came here to post about this, but I see someone already has. I thought it was a bad cover too. But judging from her ranking she's doing a lot better than me, so what do I know?
