You'll be able to see how many readers (and from which countries) view your book details, per hour/24 hours/7 days etc. Could be useful when running a free day or when you change your blurb or changing the price etc. to ascertain the effectiveness.

I don't see anything in the TOS that says you can't do this. We would they? It's in Amazon's interests that we sell more, and a decent analytics tool is crucial to improving sales online.
