If you go to the Random House website (Ballantine is one of their subsidiaries), you can sign up for author alerts and request an e-book alert for Tolkien. It's just one more way we can let them know we're interested.
Jim is probably right, though. Not in the foreseeable future. Still, we can hope.
Yep, Jim is probably right, as usual. Hurumpf!! (show-off!). (<<---- *WinkyThingy*!! )
However, just as others have stated above, it would be quite good if we expressed our desire for these books to be Kindle-ized. And often!!! We will have LotR on KINDLE!!!! Please, let's all click the "I want to read this on Kindle" for this series as often as possible!!!! (Please?!??!!!?) And please also contact the publisher directly. Potter may be a lost cause, but I bet if we all hound them hard enough we may be able to get the LotR books on Kindle. Come on now, everyone! Let's all band (and click/email) together and get this most precious of all Fantasy stories Kindle-ized!!!
