My husband and children suprised me with my Kindle for Mother's Day.....I love it, he drools over it.  Well, I thought I would suprise him with a Kindle for Fathers Day.  If I order it under my account, can we share books??  How does it work if I one click from my Kindle, does it just show up on my Kindle? or both?  If I purchase at Amazons site, does it show up on both? or just one?

Hi Wavesprite,

I had the same questions as you.  I got my Kindle in May, and after 2 weeks my wife ordered one (i knew she'd cave in when she played with mine).  To answer your question, if you order it under the same Amazon account, you can easily share books.  When you purchase, you can pick which Kindle you want the book to go to, and you can send any book to either Kindle from the Manage Your Kindle page on Amazon.  Also, you can pull down any books in your Amazon "library" from the device itself, without having to go to the website at all.  It works great!

You can share books with up to six Kindles on the same account.
