#1) Do you use a preorder as an incentive to write the next book?

#2) Do you see how Book One sells before making a preorder for Book Two?

No. I wouldn't set up a preorder on a book I hadn't begun yet. Too much danger of not actually finishing on time.

No. By the time I can estimate how something is going to perform, I've already released 3-4 books. By then, I'm already committed to going for my planned number (which is usually 6).
