For the K2, is it worth it?

For an extra $65, I can up the one-year warranty for a second year.  I'm at the point of ordering one, but is it worth it to have the extra year's worth of warranty?  Are they that fragile?

I generally shy away from extended warranties, but in the past couple of years I have had some regrets about that. (Seeing a brand new cell phone go through the laundry cycle was part of that.)

If you do go with the extended warranty, and choose to purchase it from Amazon, here's our affiliate link to do so: http://www.tinyurl.com/kindle2-warranty

Thanks everyone.  I don't think I'll be going with the Two-Year Warranty.  It's an extra $65.  And it's a third party vendor for it.  If they go up in smoke in the next two years I'm out $65.

Thanks for the advice.

I never buy extended warranties as I feel that generally they are a "rip-off". However, I have read post of users that have dropped their kindle within the first couple days!! The warranty will replace it once for no charge. I will not have to worry as much about it and be as paranoid if my kids want to use the kindle.
