I was shopping for books on Amazon this morning. I found a book available for .24 that had unknown binding.

What is unknown binding?

The only thing I can imagine is that whoever is selling it didn't list whether it is hardback or paperback or something.  So maybe if it is not specified, it just falls in that category. 

Just a guess.

For most people, there are multiple bindings: the plastic Kindle, a skin, and a cover of some material. LOL
