When you unpublish in KDP, and then sometime later you re-publish, does anyone know if the former reviews are gone forever, or, if they come back?

I haven't done it, but I assume the reviews would come back as long as the ASIN is the same.

I have unpublished and republished, many times, and yes, the reviews come back.
