I know from personal experience the most difficult part of writing can simply be getting something on the page. Remember, there is a reason why the first draft is called a rough draft. Get the bones of your story written. You can worry about the rest later.

Many authors are too focused on telling the perfect story that they never get the story written. Concentrate on getting the words on the page. If something doesn’t work, you can always change it later. First drafts are meant to be reworked and polished until they shine.
