Vicki being a pig - now help me with a cover!

I haven't seen the other incarnations, but I like it. looks YA Romance, maybe paranormal.
One suggestion, I'd make the title larger, I think it will be hard to read in thumbnail size.

The current one is in my sig line. This is the second attempt to make it look more YA.

It definitely says romance now.  But... how about something that looks like NWSS?  Something with pretty eyes?  Or is this book too different?

Much better. The current book cover will get you reviewed in SF circles as being a heavy SF book (especially since the blurb did not come across as YA romance at all). This works significantly better.

I like it much better. But I think it could use a tagline or some small print at the very bottom.

Can you brighten the background a little?  Otherwise, I like it.

One other thing I can suggest if you want to make it look more like your existing cover (which you don't need to do -- only if that is a goal) is to put solid spot-color boxes behind the name and title at the top the way you did in the first cover in the middle. (Don't place it the same way, though -- leave it at the top.)

Again, I don't think the design needs it (although it might help that small title stand out a bit more if it were in a black or dark blue solid band), I'm just saying it might make this book look more like your first.

NICE!  I like the original, but this is much better - targeted to YA.  Good on ya!

Yeah, I like them both but the new cover definitely says romance.

I'm not just saying that because I would love to use the original cover for my next sci-fi book.

I like the new one as well. The one in your sig suggests science fiction (to me), and the new one is clearly romance.

This cover is great Vicki.  The other was more hard sci-fi, maybe?  Well, not really, since there was no spaceship on it, but this says romance and YA to me.  Good job.

Muuuuuch better! Suggests a whole new set of connotations for the title, too.

I like it!! Definitely much more YA although without the space shot it feels more YA thriller. I agree making both fonts just a tad bigger but they work fine this way too based on the thumbnail.

Ha! I like it but it's way too close to your other and anyway still has more a thriller vibe to it. I like the silhouette of the kissing teens from the last one but could you perhaps find a space-themed background?

I like it! Have you seen the cover of Divergent? Not a standard YA cover, but very popular.
