Hello all,

Apologies for a question that has likely been raised plenty already, but what is the general consensus? More specifically, is Sunday / Monday a graveyard?

Thanks in advance  ;D

.

Right now, no one has a regular schedule like before quarantine.

Otherwise, it's the same as ebay sales ... Sunday is good, Monday is half good because they researched on Sunday and thought about it, Wednesday and Thursday are good because people are bored. Tuesday is the worst because they are trying to get things done and Friday is pretty poor because people are figuring out what to do on the weekend.

Then you'll want to know what weeks of the month are good or poor to launch in.... And which month? Just think about when you'd have money and when you do book shopping and you'll be there.

Good information. First time I've heard some replies on this. One thing I've noticed, my email traffic is waaaay down on the weekends. I never knew why that was, especially since it's always been off-days for employed persons, and I thought that they'd be on their devices during this time.

On the contrary, I've got the impression that most people browse the Internet while at work :) On weekends, they prefer to be with their families, go out, do stuff.

I ran a pivot on all my sales data for a year to see the best and worst days for sales.

Monday is best (!)

Friday was worst.

But then the spread was not too bad, Friday was lower than the average by only a few points, not enough for me to make any major change in my ad strategies.

But I have also found, unambiguously, that my e-mail open rates are higher on weekdays than on weekends.

Yes, that is what I meant. People are busier with household related duties and getting off their turf to go places, experience new things--camping, fishing, carnivals, movie theaters, swap meets and the like.
