What's a good book about Marilyn Monroe?

I've always been intrigued about Marilyn Monroe but have never read a book about her.  I looked on Amazon and there are SO many books about her that I didn't know which one to choose.  Any suggestions?  I watched The Misfits last night and it put me in the mood to read about Marilyn.  I want to put in on my To be read list.  Thanks!  :)

I just finished "The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe" by J. Randy Taraborrelli a few months ago and really enjoyed it. He writes a lot of pop culture bios, including Michael Jackson (on my to-read shelf) and Elizabeth Taylor. Hope that helps! The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe
If you want something fast, there's a Kindle Single out:

There are a ton of books about her, all going over the same facts, and then speculating about her end. Even Gloria Steinem had a very sympathetic book about her, but it's not Kindleized.

I'm no Monroe expert but I believe this book by Donald Spoto is considered quite authoritative. Unfortunately, it's not available for the Kindle.

I went through a Marilyn Monroe phase in the 90's and I read just about every book on her out there. I was particularly interested in the ones that shed light on her death as a possible murder instead of a suicide/OD - it's all very interesting! :)

One recent one on Kindle:

And there are a lot of other great ones, but many are not available on the Kindle yet.
