As an author of a few short stories, I can honestly say I haven't figured that one out yet.
But I would recommend that you add your titles to your signature here. It's relatively pain-free.
Will you be considering making your short story free as an easy route into your series? I believe the go-to word on the street for that approach is called a funnel. (I've seen it a lot in conjunction with anything related to the Self Publishing Podcast.) Whereas you use an easily accessed work to funnel readers into your paid content. That in itself would be a promotion method you might find appealing in the long-haul.

I think that will be my next step, to make the first title free.
I can see that there are more promotional opportunities for free books as well.
