Hi everyone!

I'm Marilyn but please, please, call me Lyn. I'm a mother of two, globetrotter and debut author. My debut novel was published by Iambe Books back in January 2013, and it still hasn't sunk in. Interred is a young adult erm paranormal/scifi/fantasy novel about a girl who can bend time at will and create portals through which she can travel through time.

As the title states I'm a nerd. I'm a Doctor Who obsessed fangirl, my doctor is the fifth one, in case you are wondering.  I'm also obsessed with Star Wars since my mother took me to see the first movie when I was barely 3 years old. Let's just say that she created the obsession. I absolutely adore Firefly, Big Bang Theory and Buffy the vampire slayer. Okay, I'm a bit of a tv-holic.

I own a kindle app on my Ipad.... and this is bad. Because I can't stop buying books.  Let's say that when the e-reader revolution started, I was not totally on board, but after I got my kindle app.... I'm a bit obsessed with it.  I'll be buying a Kindle fire for my momma's birthday this year.

I lived in England for ten years, and three years in France, so I ended up visiting Brussels, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands. I know some of the islands in the Caribbean quite well, as I grew up in Puerto Rico, after my dad finished his military service in Arizona.

That's neat. I'd love to spend so much time in Europe. Spent about a month in London, that's the extent of my European travels.

Love to make it to Jamaica someday too as I'm such a big reggae fan.

Hehe, everyone loves ten! I'm a Fifth doctor girl, because he was the first doctor I ever watched on Doctor Who. Though I lost 9,10 and 11 as well. Matt Smith is very good as the doctor, even if I thought he was a weird choice, since he was so young. Even younger than Fifth.
