I just went through my emails and I ordered on 2/19.  So I guess I have a while longer to wait.

Radio Shack is on backorder also.  I was not able to purchase in the store.  21.99 web price and they will send you an email when it's available.

What is the difference in the battery life if I purchase the battery and store it or if I wait a year and then purchase it?  I understand it might be a newer batch.  But I guess I was worried that I might not be able to get one at all eventually.

I got an email from Amazon today saying my estimated delivery date for my replacement battery is April 3, 2009.  My order was placed February 19, 2009.  Less than two months.  Shorter than I expected.
