I have a handicapped father who would love to be able to read his kindle while it sat in a desktop cradle with a wired remote control to turn the pages. Kind of like the wired remote control that Apple used to sell for the iPod.
It sounds to me like something you should bring up with Amazon. . .and don't just talk to CS. . . .go up the chain of command. It would be a great "accessibility' accessory. I don't know what the iPod remote did, but an issue might be that to turn a page on the Kindle it's a physical action -- a hardware issue, not just touching a point on the screen, which would be a software action.
