I follow some of his books and comics stuff.
He had a stroke and is currently in the hospital in Florida
I was thinking maybe some of you who enjoy his work might consider jumping into Amazon and grabbing one of his stories as a small sign of support for his family

Just a thought. But as it says in his blog about his current condition- life can change for any one of us ( famous or not) in the blink of an eye

How awful and scary. So true too, that our lives can change in the blink of an eye.
Yikes. I was a huge fan of his back in the Star Trek days, I think I bought pretty much every novel he wrote for Pocket. Hope he recovers all right.
I sympathize with the guy as I had something like this happen to me this past April. I lost partial vision in my eye ( the good one!) and now I have to rely on the weaker eye for all my visual needs- which is pretty much every waking moment

But it could have gone much worse

I figure that if  all I lost is some vision in my eye and I'm still walking then I got off lucky

Still.... this reminds me how much every day is a gift and we need to make the most of the 15 odd waking hours we get per day.

Because you never know.....

Me, too! I knew if the book had his name on it, it was going to be great. Sending thoughts for a gentle and full recovery!
I had no idea he was self publishing!  Some great looking books (and one is only 99-cents).  Grabbed three of his titles!
I don't know who he is, but my sympathies to a fellow writer and best wishes for a fully recovery.
I don't know him, but I hope he makes a strong recovery.
