Your Favorite Movie Maker Software

So, I am getting ready to start making a trailer for The Devil's Keep and was curious what software other authors use. It's my first trailer, so hoping to find something that is user friendly for someone with intermediate computer skills. Thanks!

For light use and quick videos I tend to go for Corel Video Studio Pro. It's easy to use, and comparatively quick to get the hang of, so something of a middle stage between the commercial editing and Windows Movie Maker. It's also affordable by comparison to some of the bigger products. (I use X3, but if you want to try before you buy, there's a free trial of the next one, X4, available from Corel here)

For heavy editing, it would be Final Cut Pro, but that is more expensive and not so user friendly.
I use Animoto Pro. Love it.

I have a lot to look into!  :)  Thank you all so much!
I used Windows Live Movie Maker, mostly because it was already on my computer and I watched a YouTube video on how to use it, and it was very easy.

I like very easy.

Like Vicki, I used the simple program that came free with Windows. I haven't seen enough marketing benefit from book vids (besides the fact they make me laugh) to justify the investment of time and money that would be required for the purchase of a "better" program and my personal learning curve to use it.
When I do get the extra time to sit down and work on my own trailer (and it's way down the priority list), I'll use Sony Vegas Platinum. In version 11 you can even do HD 3D without the need for a special 3D monitor.
Adobe After Effects CS4 - not for everyone and a bit pricey.
