I got the message yesterday & then they sent two more copies early this morning.
& yes, it was two copies - I even checked on the Amz website ('your messages') just out of curiousity & the msg was listed twice a few minutes apart. :)

To clarify -- because I think those timings and date references confuse things: Triple points today December 29, 2023. On the web page, it doesn't mention Dec 30, so I think it's only today.

edited later to add:

And to FURTHER CLARIFY -- I got a second email stating more clearly that it's triple points on BOTH Dec 29 and Dec 30.

Your opinion, of course. :)

I have Kindles so points/credit at B&N doesn't do me a whole lot of good.

I actually borrow most of my reading material, either through one of 5 libraries or Kindle Unlimited. But I like that, when I DO buy a book, I get some credit for another one later.

Has the program made me do more buying? Probably not. But I save a little when I do. :D

They seem to be doing a lot of 'points promos' lately.

I got an email today alerting me that I had 377 points and that 125 of them would expire as of February 1. First time I've seen that. So, of course, I redeemed 300 and bought a book that had been on my list for a while.

I was glad to have gotten the notice as I'd have been really annoyed if they just went away without warning. I was sort of saving them for a book coming out later in the year, but I guess not. :)

I had points expiring at the end of the month, so I took advantage of yesterday's double points to get the most bang for my buck.

I looked at what I've been tracking on ereaderiq, sorted the page by the ones I've tracked the longest, and picked a $9.99 book that's never been lower than $8.99.

I wish points could be used on preorders. That would be so much more convenient.
