I use Amazon’s Oasis Leather Cover and a DecalGirl.

The cover works on both the second and third generation Oasis. The sleep / wake function is one hundred percent reliable. Popping the Oasis out and putting it back in is super easy.

Putting it on was difficult and taking it off was even more so. The DecalGirl was on my Kindle and maybe it would have been easier without it. The DecalGirl ended up damaged with nicks.

It did make the Oasis easier to hold without adding very much weight.

I'm very pleased with the Ayotu case I use on my Oasis

The video makes it look like there is a lip around the edges, does it actually have that?

Is it easy to take out the Oasis and put it back in?

Is the fit very tight? Do you think a DecalGirl would be damaged taking the Oasis out and putting it back in?

I take the Oasis out of the case almost every reading session so being able to do it easily and without damaging the DecalGirl is important to me.

 

There is a lip around the back side. You set the Kindle into a 4 sided box that comes up and over the top edge a little bit.

I'm not sure I've ever taken my case off. I think I put it on and left it on.
