True Friends has a main character who's a Doctor Who fan, and there's a scene that takes place at the DW fan group meeting. It was a fun scene to write, because it took me back to what I liked about fandom and DW. It was also fun to knock down an episode that wasted my time being so crappy. Just thought I'd share that.

Not much news about the book, but there is new Doctor Who. I liked "Asylum of the Daleks." I'm hoping to keep up with the new episodes, though I will miss next weekend's story because I'll be at the Kansas Book Festival.

Anyway, consider "True Friends" as your next read. Thanks!
