With luck and dedication, hopefully I will:

In 2011 get two YA paranormal novellas published.

In 2012 finish and publish a YA paranormal novel, planned to be the first in a series.

I haven't planned beyond that, because experience has taught me life will do it's best to change my plans!

So organised.  So ... very organised.  My eyes!  The adhocracy that is my mind cannot take such planning!

Actually I'm not so disorganised right now (he lied), I've got two novella/novel things lined up that I'll have done either by the end of the year or Jan/Feb 2012, and probably another two Charlotte Powers books by the end of next year.  Aside from those I've also got Resonance Book Two, Miya Black IV & V (maybe VI), possibly an Imogen Shroud sequel if I get into the mood for more zombies, plus anything new that grabs me, slaps me around a bit and demands attention.

But really my 'plan' is little more than 'Just Keep Writing'. It's working so far, I'm happy, I don't want to muck around with that too much :)

I have an anti-suicide flash fiction due out in a month or so, but for 2012 I am working on second novel in the Hermit Master series. The Legend of the Hermit Master was the first novel released this year. Liquid Crystal will be the second novel, but outside of that I have no other plans for 2012.

I'm working on 3 right now, all contemporary fantasies.

Root - about 48k words so far - about a waystation for suicidal souls, and a young man's global search for the real girl he meets in a 'dream'

Sinkor - about 10k words - another sequel to Xenolith. Frank and Liz are healed up and holed up in Massachusetts. Liz is pining to return to Gi, while Venep'o agents infiltrate Cambridge to convert and proselytize under the watchful eye of Canu, now a janitor in Harvard Square.

Cinquefoil - about 7k words - a story about reincarnation, Native American shamans and ecoterrorism set in New England.

Three or four novels, based on a few things outside my control.

Two dark fantasy (part 1 and 2 of a trilogy)
One semi-historic fantasy
One space opera
Two hard SF

But some of those will go to traditional press first.

Novellas and short stories/collections as they happen.

In 2012:

Early 2012: The Rat King, book 2 of the Changers Trilogy
Late 2012:  The Layneman Experiments, Book 3 of the Changers Trilogy

Those are definite plans and I am currently working on a back burner project of pulpy-style military SF novels of which I hope to have completed 2-3  before I release them.

I am editing Gastien Part 2: From Dream to Destiny right now and starting to write the third book.  There will also at least a fourth.  Yesterday, the idea formed in my brain to also do the story about a character in the first book, because people may want to know what made him tick and what happened to him...actually there are possibly two that should have their stories told.  We will see!

I have a bunch of novellas planned (already have the covers for most of them-- I didn't feel as good as I hoped, and thus haven't gotten as much done this year as I wanted to).  I also have the rights for three novellas coming back to me in February, and so I'll be re-releasing at least two of those, too.  If I stay healthy, I hope to have five or six Ellen Fisher novellas out in the first half of 2012!

Lol ... this made me laugh! Yes, you don't want to be like the folks who had to go out and change the billboards this past May when the world didn't end on schedule.
Heh, definitely not. That was a major inconvenience for them, wasn't it?

I was hoping to get a Christmas-related comic novel out for this coming holiday season, but time is slipping away. I already have a screenplay version, so maybe that will make the work faster.

For next year, another horror novel and a horror comedy are in the plans. I also want to really make this writing thing into a real business, and put out product that will be hard to tell from traditional publishers' stuff.

I have one short story to edit and upload, and I need to write/edit Hal Spacejock book 5 and Hal Junior book 2.

In order to publish them early next year, I need to finish off the first drafts before xmas.

The Revenge of the Templar a Victorian thriller will be published as an eBook in February 2012.

An Agent of the King will be published as a paperback in March 2012

Recon Earth a sci-fi thriller will be published as an eBook by April 2012

I hope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
